i asked the discord and they told me to dump with a different tool, wasn't working so I switched from the usb i was using to a toshiba 2gb sd card (one that came with an O3DS) + a generic reader (i think i got it from poundland many years ago LOL, it's been pretty useful for all that time tho) and then it worked (in this SS i turned the internal res up to 3x, weird how the dots look now!)

i've been playing a bit of jedi academy cus it has a vr mod, and for some reason I'm having what appear to be issues with save corruption? I'm using the pc version of the mod with a copy of the game from Steam but I haven't played in flatscreen. When I load certain saves (haven't spotted patterns yet) my game just crashes, I got a save that did this twice but the previous save was fine and then it just happened again (although this time I just gave up instead of testing again because it already seems like a consistent issue)

Just asking anyone who plays this game if save corruption is normal? Thankfully, it's one of those games where you don't have a set number of saves and can just save whenever, but still it's annoying and worrying that there's possibly a chance my saves might just... not work

If you have the editions button, it launches ps4 edition.
If you don't have that button, but you have a Minecraft: PS4 Edition disc:

1. Backup your MC bedrock stuff. We need to delete the update.
2. Disconnect your console from the internet now. (Probably take your MC disc out. IDK if it makes a difference tho.) Delete the MC update. Since MCPS4 morphed into Bedrock PS4, we need to delete the update to get 1.00 back. (We will be updating it again afterwards inb4)
3. Put your MCPS4 disc in and launch it. Do not let it update!
4. Open up the tutorial and try getting a trophy if you can, just something so it thinks you've played ps4 edition before and shows the button. (Trophy probably isn't necessary, but still try it if you're able to)
5. Connect to the internet again and let MC update. Now it should have the editions button

I feel like it was when I was playing. Maybe it's back up now a lot of people said they'd come back for solo content and yeah the story is good. I'm willing to try it again if friends play. But outside of that I'm not really interested.

But the card pack stuff, the horizontal content, and the literal AFK grind elements really ruin the game for me.

Like low-key the game has such a strong foundation, good story telling, and fun bosses that if I could pay a monthly subscription to not have to do the horizontal content I'd literally still be playing and paying too lol. Oh also it'd be nice if it didn't feel like 80% if the community crawled out of the most toxic of swamps.

And finally there's the game's namesake. The phonecalls. They give orders via untraceable phone calls. Oftentimes their orders will be requested disguised as something else. It would take me hours to type everything I'd like to share about the series, so I'll trim it down and just tell you about my favorite character from the series.

||Richter is a man in his 30's-40's (I think) living with his elderly and nearly cripped mother, taking care of her. He is unfortunately unemployed and thus is always looking for work, although he hasn't been able to find it. The 50 Blessings, reached out to him asking him to do some things, but he didn't understand and he didn't want to part take in it. He dismissed the weird phone calls as just some prank phone calls. Eventually they started getting more threatening. He still didn't listen so to show him they were serious they torched his car. That's when h e knew he had to comply, as they threatened to do worse if he didn't start obeying. And thus he did, he started doing jobs for them, killing mobsters, and even in one case, he kills another person who was a pawn to the 50 Blessings, same as him. He kept all this from his mom, as he didn't want to worry her. Eventually he was caught and wound up in prison.||

||It's a long story and not a lot is explained, but there's a big prison break and just about all the prisoners are killed. Richter narrowly escapes by dressing up in a prison guards uniform and leaving with the SWAT team sent in the clean the place up. From there he goes to Hawaii to lay low, escaping The 50 Blessings. However he left his sick mother behind. He is in hiding so he can't exactly do much or else he risk discovery.||

||There is a writer, writing a book about the 50 Blessings, he gets in contact with Richter and Richter agrees to tell the writer his story, in exchange he has to buy a plane ticket for his mother so he can continue to take care of her in Hawaii. This story has an unhappy ending, but I'll leave it at that.||

||The reason Richter is my favorite is because he's probably one of the least evil people in this game. I mean it could be argued the patriots aren't evil, but Richter's whole story is him being forced to commit violent acts to protect himself and his poor old mother. He hurts a lot of people, but I feel like he's more a victim of circumstance than anything. He never hurts, to his knowledge, innocent people. Just mobsters and anyone whose an active threat to him. The rat mask I use as a pfp is Richter's mask by the way.||

Oh I see what you got out of it now. That's a nice lesson, however I don't think it would have worked like this for Richter. No matter what, until he went into hiding, he had to do what The 50 Blessings told him to do, or else him and his mother could have been killed. He also would have likely been killed if he stayed in the prison. Either by the SWAT or even another prisoner. I forgot to mention, before the prison riot a very large prisoner tried to kill Richter, he only survived by finding a large lead pipe to use as a weapon. We don't know for sure why the prisoner tried to kill him, but it seems The 50 Blessings were trying to get him killed while he was in prison.

As for lying to him mom, I don't think it would have benifited them if she knew the truth. If anything it might have put her in danger of The 50 Blessings coming after her for having information on them.

I hope they remove the respawning mobs from PoE2. The fact that everything respawns when you die, in a game that seems to actively punish you for trying to go too fast is kinda annoying.
