me when bedrock edition (It's fine if you can't play java, but I literally can't play bedrock because of how broken the UI is. It's probably where 90% of Bedrock bugs are. It's where most of my issues are. Once, I had to screen record(??????) before Android would let me log in. On two separate occasions. And on PC my mouse didn't recenter properly (something that is a standard in most videogames where the mouse is used for camera control!!!!!!!) and had to solve the issue using a SEA OF THIEVES SUPPORT ARTICLE i am not kidding. i need to shut up but bedrock would be good if the menus were completely redesigned)

Oldgens are the easiest to get; they all had physical versions although 360 physical can't go back to some very early updates (i think the disc has tu9 on it, not sure tho)
For newgens, they've all been delisted but you can redownload them if you had them. Xbox One and Switch will show up as separate apps from Bedrock.
However, PS4 is special. If you didn't buy Minecraft digitally before Bedrock PS4 launched, you will need to get a PS4 Edition disc (look for the old boxart), backup your bedrock saves, delete minecraft off your ps4, go offline, then launch base PS4 Edition and make a save. (You can just boot up a tutorial world)
once you do this you should be able to go back online, redownload your stuff, and provided the disc is still in you will get an Editions button on your bedrock menu that lets you switch into ps4 edition

i own 6/7 of the legacy console editions, only one i dont own is switch but even then I gameshare it so it's not like i havent played it or anything

i can tell you: vita is the worst by far. it's really laggy, you wouldn't wanna do anything too serious on it but it's cool that it exists

the best newgen is easily PS4 as it's the latest legacy you can play, for oldgen it's either Wii U or PS3 depending on how active Pretendo Network and RPCN are (before the NN shutdown, Wii U would easily have won because it's the best performing oldgen and it emulates the best out of all of them.)

i play resonite (another vr social game) and it is SIGNIFICANTLY less popular than vrc. but i've only had to block people on there a single digit number of times.
I often use Toontown: Corporate Clash (cool game, you should play it) as a comparison because it's also fairly obscure.
Yet I've genuinely seen more players on TTCC than in resonite (resonite is usually around ~200 while i've seen corp clash go as high as ~400 before) when I've checked in the past.

there's a way more popular toontown server called toontown rewritten that mimics Toontown Online (an old disney mmorpg that was active from 2003-2013) way closer, but since TTO was a paid sub i feel the game itself suffers a bit.

i feel that the TTR/TTCC situation kind of mirrors this one; TTR is more active (i've seen playercounts go as high as 1k before) but also more toxic, while TTCC is less active (it's not usually a ghost town per se but it's not exactly bustling either) but I find its community skews a little older and more mature

this is just reminding me how long it's been since i last booted up ttcc lol

i was just bringing it up because 1. adhd decided to make me go on a tangent, 2. corp clash isn't the most active game and my point is that resonite is often less active, and 3. the TTR/TTCC comparison mirrors the VRC/Reso comparison fairly closely (one is markedly more popular than the other, both are similar but also very different, i swear one is better than the other)
