My friend cant join in a room (socket not allowed...)

Hi all, since a few days ago, my friend has been having problems entering the rooms. He has to try many times to enter. I attach an image of the error, its translated from Spanish.

My guess is this is either an admin permission message, or a "can't find the game" error. But I'm not an RA1 guy so I'm not sure

Hi Matt, thenks for your reply. The translation of the image text is correct, but the first sentence is not part of cncnet 5 spanish translation. Anyway, i asked my friend to set the lobby to english and send me a screenshot again.

Okay... so is the error being thrown up by CnCNet? Or is it a Windows error?

Could be firewalls, overally sensitive antiviruses possibly blocking ports and so on?

Its joining IRC channels, so might be blocking that?
