#Disconnection after loading game

I'm trying to play Online using CnC net. The installation of the client went fine, and I was able to play the campaigns and skirmish games.
When I do have issues when trying to play a multiplayer match. The game loads fine, but a few seconds after the game has started, I encounter the disconnection screen.
This happens even after turning off my firewall.
Two of my friends were able to play, so I assume my system has issues.

What can I do to troubleshoot this issue?

System details:
OS: Windows 11
Game: Yuri's Revenge
Store: EA
Internet: Wired

Dont use ddrawcompat

#

Nor default

#

I suggest you

Cnc-ddraw for Fullscreen
Ts-ddraw for Windowed mode

I have used TS-draw as rendered, but the issue still persists. I have tried the others as well

Have you tried different maps as well? Definitely not a renderer error if you can run skirmish

@placid panther you got any ideas?
It's not: A Map. A Renderer. A Tunnel

Jup! I was able to see the MCV and deploy it. The disconnect message appeared everytime roughly halfway into building a power-plant

Free now/in the next 20 minutes to do a test game or two?

Differences in files or third party anti virus blocking the connection after it’s established. Just my initial guesses

Unfortunatly I'm at work at the moment, so I cannot start a test game. I'm available tot test in ~02:30 hours (around <t:1715094000:t> )

#

I have tried to disable the firewall, that did not make a difference. I only use Window's default virus scanner, but I could try to see if it is blocking anything

Thank you for the help so far by the way! It feels like a quite an odd issue to have...

Okay. Tag me when you're free and I'll try to get on and run a test game. Next time you try a game (with me or whoever), afterwards, open up "Event Viewer" from the start menu, and see what's listed under Windows Logs -> Applications (right @primal moat ?)
Should see something like this

#

Everything's time stamped, and you'll probably have an "error" or "warning" around the time the game crashed.

It might give some suggestion as to what's causing things

#

Other things to try:
-Reboot your PC if you haven't already and see if the problem's disappeared
(Probably worth doing this anyway if you haven't already)

-Full CNCNet and RA2 uninstall and reinstall
(This can fix these sorts of 'random' issues, but obviously is a bit annoying and takes time)

So update: I just tried again between my laptop and desktop, and things seem to be fine now. The only thing I can imagine that was causing issues is my modem/router, which was disconnected for a moment today to move some stuff, but perhaps that reboot solved it?

Restarting the router does help people a lot of the time with CnCNet. I don't know why, but I'm glad it works now!
