Once a noble order, the Knight Bane met a catastrophic end against the dark powers of Terminus. Their minds became corrupted as their flesh died away, remnants of their former selves now known as the half-dead. Abandoned by their gods, they reformed as a dark order of anti-knights wielding corrupted magic and forbidden sorcery obtained from their transformation. Despite their darkness, they eternally yearn for the final release that will reunite their weary souls with the light they swore to serve.
