Official is subjective in nature. Official being that it was a community established server for a majority of players on the {previously} Aevos server, as you know.

Then, a disgruntled member leaves the community and tries to start an identical new one and call it the "Community Discord". Much less, paying somoene to copy the channels, verbatim.

I'm all for creating a new community, and I hope it works. But, a straight replica seems off-putting and moderately disrespectful. Each to their own; I'm just here to let others know there is a more-established discord server where lfg, selling, trading, and communication happens.

I disagree with your idea of what makes something official, but to each their own.Some would say that emulation is a higher form of flattery. Ultimately I think it's a good thing so that players can choose to be a member of the community that fits them best, or both if they like.

Much less, calling it The Stormona Community Discord when one already exists? That's definitely just disrespecting the work that was put in for those who have built the other one.

I mean, the LOGICAL thing to do would be for the formerly Aevos community Discord server to change it's name and repurpose itself as the Stormona community Discord server since... ya know... it is already well-established and populated.

It doesn't matter where the majority of the players hail from - you're all on the same in game server now. Let's use a little bit of common sense here.

While there's nothing saying you can't have more than one, it is strikingly odd that you (@lapis tundra) were on two separate servers, booted yourself off of one, got into conflict on the next with existing guilds over camp disputes, reported yourself for being a d-bag, leave the then-Aevos community Discord server, and then create this after the servers merge together to form Stormona. I don't think you're qualified for the job.

I have only ever been in two guilds both of which are on Stormona 1 of which i left within 5 days <3. I dont understand the jaded communications and why we cannot each appreciate our own respective spaces. A community can be defined by who ever subjectively wishes to participate in it. Yours is established from Aevos I 100% wish you the best and I have zero intentions of being toxic towards your community can you please respect mine as well with that same energy?

My understanding is that it will be a more moderated community with less tolerance for toxicity. As far as Paladin is concerned... Paladin is one of the least toxic, most diplomatic people I've ever met on this game. I've watched him make mistakes and the own them and work to make amends to make those wronged whole again. That's a good personality trait in my book, and most of us would do well to try to do the same.

Paladin got caught bullying another guild on the official community discord after being high-and-mighty about guild etiquette, and because it's all chronicled there in the actual official server discord plain as day with receipts, he'd much rather avoid that reputation with new guilds joining the server.

We all know what it is. It's why every time it comes up he tries to casually dip out of the conversation, and it's why he dipped out of that discord. Which is all fine, but like.. I mean.. Have a spine about it instead of trying some passive aggressive fake toxic positivity act. A little video game bullying is not that big of a deal. 🤷‍♂️

Thank you for sharing the literal essays you posted all because one guy took a random resource node in a cavern where you felt entitled to all of them. It was fun to read multiple guild leaders on the server telling you to blacklist the guy and move on and you continuing to make it out to be a big issue, all while you felt entitled to ruin a smaller guild's raid night by taking every camp in an area so they couldn't enjoy their evening.

This whole thing started because Tully (A council member of Fallen), started a community discord. @lapis tundra has a huge problem with Fallen as a guild, and so he associates the main community discord with the guild. He has complained about Fallen, and been told to stop his whining and ignore folks/move on. He refuses to do so, and even though he has never been censored and always gotten responses to his complaints, he wanted his own sandbox to play in

For the record, I am also a Moderator/Admin of the former Aevos Community Discord, and no longer associated with Fallen in any way

I pulled from the discord after that.

THIS is where this thread should have ended. From here, everyone should have moved on. "Warnings" could have been sent out, as needed, to those that were concerned, and the fates of the servers would have been in the hands of the community. Instead, we have a server divided by drama that came from before the merger.

While I have not read EVERY message in this thread, I've read enough to see that a "clean" slate is requested. This can't happen if bad blood can't be let go of.

I came from Dark Trade, I have friends that were already on Stormona, I'm not here for Aevos drama.
