In this generation i think honestly not (unless they are chinese, thai, japanese or taiwanese. Trust me, I live in korea and near some companys. They are super harsh towards foreign trainees and they end up suffereing a lot and dont even debut

Hate. You would get sooo much hate there actually is a group with forgein members called- blackswan - and the forgein members got so much hate especally gabi which i dont really get since kpop is a music genre and jn my opinion as long as you fluently know korean it shouldnt be a problem to become a kpop artist

So I’ve been thinking about it recently and, I think it would be really cool if I could become a Kpop artist! I’m studying Korean right now, and I’m starting to learn choreography next year. I will start singing lessons sometime, too. Is that all I have to do, along with audition for entertainment companies? Is a group audition okay, too? And is there anything I should know about it before I try?

It’s like to request a position in a company, and after I’m pretty sure they look over your credentials and ask you to come audition? I’m not the most reliable on this topic because I’ve never tried out lmao but it seems abt right

That's great! You should definitely try! Try joining the JYP nation so we can work together. You should definitely need to be fluent with Korean and/or Japanese. Mr. J.Y. Park is a very strict one so you need to prove him that you are capable of being a K-pop idol. And yes, any nationality is allowed to be a K-pop idol.
