If you really want barricade I'd recomment bringing a drink meal and a small bottle of water so you won't have to eat inside

Sometimes, staff will give numbers for queuing alltho this only happened once with a XG concert, other then that its a fan initiave

It depends how nice Blinks & people are once you get inside, you will have to wait a bit for concert to start even if there’s no soundcheck before so hopefully people are nice so you all can sit down to rest/wait & you might be able to leave your spot if you’re with someone who can stay at your spot so you can get back to them, to then go to bathroom or maybe buy something quick. But really for VIP, everyone who wants to be barricade or as close to stage as possible might be forced to stay at their spot the whole time (except outside the venue while queuing where it’s easier to just leave quickly for bathroom etc if you’re with someone). Definitely prepare to be well hydrated even the day before, take electrolyte drink tablets & you can drink powerade, eat well before & bring snacks to eat while queuing! Put sunscreen on & bring a hat to protect yourself from the sun etc. Hopefully people are nice around you but don’t expect for you both to be able to leave & be prepared to have to queue/stay at your spot the whole time if needed, if you get a spot close to stage & want to keep it that is

I don’t have any recent experiences but I read recently that Bonjour is the magic word & it’s important to greet someone with that first when you walk into a store or go to a restaurant or meet someone etc, otherwise they might feel offended or think you were rude for not even greeting them first. Maybe the French Blinks can confirm this & maybe have something else to reply too

Thanks for the advice. Being respectful by greeting someone first, or things like "please" and "thank you", is something you should do no matter where you are. Also I would consider myself being a very polite person so I don't think I would offend someone. (Well, maybe with my bad pronounciation in foreign languages😅)

Yes ofc, I agree & think the same, I’d also say I’m polite but as a introvert I don’t always greet people unless I have to so if they say hello to me I’ll say hi back & this works fine in Sweden where people generally are more reserved so I assume staff would just think I’m quiet but not think any more of it. But after reading that about Bonjour being the magic word I’ll ask my French friend about it or just remember to do it automatically while I’m there, I’ll be there for 10 nights too.

I can relate to that. I normally say 'Hi' first, before I start talking with someone. But in some occasions, like getting on the Bus and greet the Bus driver for example, is something I did more often in the past. But nowadays I don't even try to anymore, as most of them don't even look at you and won't greet back at all. Now I'm asking myself how french people behave in this example. Do they greet the bus driver? do they not? What is the correct way here? You may have noticed by now, that I tend to overthink stuff 😄.

Ofc if I start talking with someone or need to ask them for something I’ll say hi or excuse me. But when entering stores, getting onto the bus or even walking past a neighbour I don’t know or recognise, I’ll usually only say hi if they greet me first & I’d definitely prefer to not say anything, that’s me being introverted/quiet doing my own thing & I don’t think it should be seen as rude because it’s not my intention. But since I read about the Bonjour thing it’s just something I’ll have to try to do because I also don’t want to come across as rude when I’m not.
Haha that’s alright but I don’t think you need to worry too much, & even for this you can also just observe what others or locals are doing & then just do the same 😊

Actually I've gone a little bit overkill and got tickets for both days. 😅 Day 1 closer to the stage and Day 2 further away. Before I was getting the tickets, I thought: What gives, it may be their last tour and the last chance to see them together as a group. I was too afraid of them not announcing a concert in Germany(my home) later on, that's why I'm traveling to Paris in the first place. When do you go?

I’ll be in Paris to see Stray Kids 2 days in a row (+ going to their first EU concert in Amsterdam so I don’t think you’re overkill haha) so I’ll be in Paris from 24th & then finish my trip with seeing Blackpink on the 2nd, it worked out really well with their concert date so I could just plan my trip to end it with seeing them 😊 going home on the 3rd

That's great! So a 10 day trip that begins and ends with a concert basically 😊. Maybe I'm not that 'extra' going on both days but I was thinking about some fans, who wish they could even get the chance to attend ONE concert that's why I feel bad (only for a bit though) for going both days haha.
