I'm sorry to hear that. Even without the protests, Paris can be a bit dodgy. First time I went I was not street smart. I got scammed and was told how lucky I was nothing worse happened. My friend was by herself and had a strange man grab her arm in the street when she was out on a winters evening. You have to be careful.

tbh I am checking first Taylor's world tours form the past and she didn't do much more concerts than BP does now.

The Eras Tour is probalby the first that HUGE worldwide project for. But Taylor is on another stage in her carrer than BP. Give girls time, and maybe they will also make something similar.

Personally I don't have a problem with their style of making WorldTour, I only have a hope, that I will be able to buy tickets for more concerts in Europe, thats all 😄

Hi. I've never talked here but oh well. Currently the situation has calmed down but there are still acts of violence every night. I think that, in paris, every transportation ends between 8 pm and 9 pm but I'm not sure. Even in the city I live in, which is normally rather calm, people are burning shops, cars and public buildings. Like RosiePosie said, the mayors are a target right now since for the rioters they represent the Republic. I think it's the same level of intensity as when there was the protests against the pension reform.
They are also cancelling things left and right.
That's what I understand about the situation but I don't live in a big city or have social media apart from Discord so I can't really tell.

My prediction is the concert will go ahead unless something really terrible happens but I think there will also be some personal risk you need to be okay with taking if you go. Especially as it is Independence weekend. As the NYT article says, they are not recommending people avoid Paris but it is at a heightened security level. So just really take care.

The location of Stade de France is not great anyway imo but the people who plan the concert don't really think about things like that. They just want to sell tickets. In Hyde Park BP were apparently late and people were worried cause the trains finished early etc. So you just have to do your best. We will keep following the news.

Last time we went to Paris there was the airport security strike so there's always something and we weren't prepared for that.

Can't deny it does more sales but there's a number of safety reasons that are obviously valid and reals

especially when this year alone we had multiple head commotions in Ligue 1 due to bottles or beer cups

It's bizarre to me that many venues don't allow bottle caps in but they allow lightsticks in which someone could throw at them. The plastic bit might hurt a bit if someone threw hard enough. At a Bebe Rexha concert some crazy guy actually threw his phone and got her face.
