Only done vividseats. But generally pretty simple and works well. Witht hat said, you usually won’t get your tix till before the concert if it’s ticketmaster. They basically block transfers for a lot of the concerts.

The original purchaser needs to assist on transferring them to you

If you bought them off ticketmaster, some people emailed them and they said they would try to contact the seller to do it. Not sure now successful that was though

Most likely you won’t get vip benefits transferred to you if you bought it resell. Like others have mentioned, the only way to get that is to somehow get fortunate to find the original purchaser but may be nearly impossible.
