in my opinion I would consider Hotel Del Luna to be a sad yet lighthearted KDrama but others such as See you in my 19th life is also good, also The Glory, Lies hidden in my garden and sweet home are both sad and (in my opinion) a bit scary. These are some of the more well know ones though.
