I tried watching Ju On origins and wtf it was the most depressing disturbing thing ever. Episode one had two triggering S/A scenes - one involving a kidnapped child - and the story didn't even really feel like it was about ghosts apart from one tiny scene. It was just a compilation of a bunch of people being abused. By far the worst version of "Ju On" I've seen to date. Don't think I can stomach going beyond episode one since it was that heavy already

and this shifting souls business (Alchemy of Souls) is now banned

then, in the present, ||that prodigal son is banned from doing magic (cuz he's supposedly gonna be a king one day)||

and ||he meets soul-shifted Naksu||

and ||she trains him for not giving away her secret||

along the way, the current crown prince and others do try finding out the truth, but they persevere, blah blah blah

they ||fall in love, then forced to prove the love, then he has to save her, then the other way around||

then the ice stone ||(the thing which gave the region magic) traps them in a house while a coup is going on outside||

and ||Naksu reveals her identity and Mr. Son saves everyone by accepting the power of the ice stone||

||but then mad rage (caused by Mr. Villain) forces her to kill him in the end||

and then, ||on realizing what she'd done, she did a Juliet impression and killed herself lol||
