Oh man that ending!! Alice in Borderland is one of the best shows I watched in a long time. I like Squid Game a lot but Alice in Borderland is way more clever. There were so many twists and turns that kept me on edge!! The ending felt very final until the very last split second where it kinda leaves a door open. Someone here said if they do make another season it will need to be the sequel manga. Is that like a spin off with new people or are the same characters involved? Cause I'm honestly so invested in the current characters and want to see them continue. Even if only for one more season.

its also the best adaptation to a manga i wouldnt say anime since there is only three episodes and it only goes to the wolf and sheep game and so far reading up to the osmosis game so far its prtty accurate but from the reception its real accurate and its the most successful but i think this is way more complex compared to squid, i know its compared but its rlly not if you look alice in borderlands is way more thought out

and if they do the sequel to the anime Alice in Borderlands : Retry it will definitely get a 3rd season whether or not they adapt the spin-off Alice in Borderlands : Road is another story

but they adapted the full manga in 2 seasons

I really hope so. But I really hope to see all the main characters return and especially Arisu and Usagi. One review said the ending felt very rushed as if they were scared it wouldn't be renewed and to be honest if that was the true ending for those characters I would agree it seems very rushed. So I really hope that they all come back for another season and that Netflix renews it. Season 2 was also 10× better than Season 1. I guess people compare it to Squid Game because of the killing game aspect but I admit there were a lot more echoes of Battle Royale in this than Squid Game and Battle Royale was the OG one

Also Heiya's character was such a great additition. They literally added their own Katniss only more badass. Loved it.

I was reading what more people were saying online and apparently the general consensus is they won't renew. Apparently retry is very short. Only an epilogue really with one game so unless Netflix take over from the manga and build their own story then it seems like it would be hard to do, certainly not enough content for a whole season. There is a spin off manga with some other characters but I think most people just want to continue with the main ones. I really hope they renew but now I'm feeling less hopeful. Especially since season 2 renewal date was announced in just two weeks and this has been more than a month. Apparently a lot of people think the ending scene in season 2 doesn't open any doors but was just a nod to a bit from the manga that was left out...

I really hope they do renew though. I mean if that was the last season why wouldn't Netflix just say so instead of leaving people guessing?

I'm pretty ok with Netflix taking liberties and building their own storyline a bit more since the only remaining manga with the characters is super short. The Queen of Spades game with Usagi the boy and Arisu was apparently completely made up by Netflix writers and I thought it was really good
