This is pretty simple and you are probably already planning this but the cop should have a patrol car spawn near the games starting location. It would make sense and potentially be an immediate upside to playing cop. Maybe give them the ability to take cars from the police station with no consequence.

Obviously any other class you would just steal a car and be on your merry way, but with the cop you should be able to play without having to do that.

I think they should definitely have access to a patrol car somehow. If making it free is considered OP, maybe Madguy could make it so the Cop can buy a cop car at a police station.

I mean, since cops start off aligned with most other officers, then I assume that this will happen coincidentally. If a random dude will give me (a random cop) a key to a cell, I think they wouldn’t be annoyed or hostile if I took their car.
But it’d be cool if it worked slightly differently.
Idk how starts will work. If cops start out with a car, all the other classes will probably have to start off with some similar type of start.
Other than equipment and the abilities you have and hop off the boat with, I don’t know if you need much else. Having to figure out what you can get with each character, whether it’s “borrowing” your cop friend’s car or just using your abilities to do whatever else, is I think a big part of the game.
So while I don’t agree, I understand and like the thought. Just think it’ll happen coincidentally anyway.
