#Channel for quality AI answers

Honestly, not seeing the benefit. Discord is not a good place to store information, despite maybe its pinned messages.
There is also no guarantee that ChatGPT interactions and answers an individual sees as good and useful are actually good and useful.
Someone with the actual knowledge would need to filter the good stuff from the bad. On top I can't even imagine what this would look like. Just some copy paste channel of random ChatGPT interactions?
I think everyone should decide on their own if they want to use AI or not and then be reasonable enough to see that the answers are crap most of the time and filter those out.
I'm not in favor of putting ChatGPT answers and interactions into any kind of spotlight. Questions here should almost exclusively be answered with actual knowledge from a real person, imo.
I agree. I already see far too many people trying to pass of chatgpt answers as their own despite them being laughably false.
An example was someone asking if a BPFL is the only way to make static functions in BP. Someone pasted a GPT answer that said no, you could also just tick a box on the function to make it static. 😆
It certainly doesn't help that the "random game idea generator" version of it is the one freely available, out there to play mix match with answers, while the slightly better one is behind a paywall
Very interesting perspectives. Ultimately Duscord is a forum not a database as @ocean plume rightfully points out. Happy for this suggestion to be rejected!
I would suggest keeping an open mind though. Don’t see it going away anytime soon. Acknowledging the greater present problem of amateurs polluting the server with AI trash which isn’t helping things either.
I'm not understanding the need for a seperate channel for AI answers? If theyre "quality" which I will admit, sometimes can happen but often only for simple things then why not just reply directly to the person in the conversation with the answer?
This suggestion isn’t referring to questions asked in this server and answered by AI. That’s been discussed to death
So it's just for "oh hey here's a cool answer I got with this prompt" that doesn't seem very useful
I personally don't think this is something that bears keeping in mind at all
