Can just the scope zoom in?
yes the zoom is changing when you change character camera FoV, like Warzone PUBG and other games
yes this is a warzone method, not Tarkov
What would be the benefit of me using this product over a traditional UI mask sort of thing, or material based method?
to zoom only inside scope you need second camera and this will take a lot of performance

I'm not forcing you to buy it🙂 , everyone is making his project with different methods, someone like to spend a lot of time to optimize a Scope with Second camera which takes a lot of performance and is looking pixelized and horrible quality inside scope, others just want a faster method without FPS lose and best quality inside scope )
