Unreal takes a royalty cut, which is pretty standard.

Hey Hi!, I used to try to get unity to work, but recently due to unity buying and partnering with a compeny know for its malware, I decided to find another engine, so, any tips on where to start with Unreal, my end goal is to make a soulslike (because I really like them and I wanted to make my own take on the games) and I know about the classic "don't start on the big project first" I just wanna make something that functions and go from there.
