I have some Genelec hifi speakers as my computer speakers, and one of them sounded really boomy when placed in a position where it was near a corner
but being a high quality brand they actually had thought about that and you can just change a setting on the speaker to adjust the sound for corners

Checked them out, 25w per side, out of 60, so it is likely of the PWM/class D amps. The sub is 100w lol.
For average room, these are more than enough. I can suggest only careful place of the sub tho, if you mind the "oompf" effect.
