Not taking a stance is still making a "political" statement. And Epic had already stopped commerce with Russia even before now (which was likely just to comply with sanctions, but that they put out an actual press release is more than they're required to do). This is specifically for humanitarian aid, and if you want to avoid that because it's "political" then I'm not really sure what there is to say.

theres lots of franchises which stuck with UE3 simply because the toolchains were mature
saw the same thing with previous iterations of the engine too, there are some UE2 games closer to UE3. Infact if you look at the first UE3 versions to the last theres a huge difference
