Well, Starfield is around the corner, and I already finished my Fallout 4 to Unreal Engine 5 automatic map porting tests a while back, and I wanted to be ready with Starfield, when it comes out, just in case. Well, in my professional workflow, I animate weightless bones serving as sockets for attaching weapons on (or any other held object). It allows me to reduce something that I call "snapping syndrome", where basically items snaps to body parts.

i want to know if my reaction to danger is normal. i watched a video of this south african security van under attack from armed robbers. someone commented about the guys breathing. he managed to evade and escape. but what caught my attention was the comment about the guys breathing. he said he knows what hes doing, his breaths were long and deep. thats exactly how i react to that sort of stress (not getting shot at of course, ive never had that happen to me). but if i was driving the canyon in MT and had to pass a semi on a long interstate curve in inclimate weather, thats the sort of thing that i do. my breathing goes long and deep and i focus on the road. i just wonder why im like this with physical danger but not more mundane things like talking to certain individuals or dealing with authority figures.
it seems to me one cant be good at both situations but i also feel it can be learned.
