It does not support swap files on file systems that span multiple devices.

The raid 5/6 has been broken since it was "released" in 2014. 2017, there was some proposal and/or test code to use a separate journaling device to keep it from blowing up if the machine crashed or had a power failure. And in the current year of our lord, they're finally actively discouraging you from attempting to even use it. So, in seven years, it's still dangerous, doesn't support any fixed stripe settings to stop it from being a performance trainwreck with larger numbers of drives.
Compression still requires either setting file types to compress in the mount command or manually setting them at the file or directory level. The compression performance sucks.
Aaaaaaaaaand even if you go for the most basic level of just mirrored disks... if you have a failure... the tool(s) for it may not even work.

two mirror arrays, one raidz2, automatic snapshotting, manual recordsize settings for different workloads and for vm qcow storage... so.. yeah. I use it.
The bad thing is, because some people are all "oh, the licenses might not be compatible if used a certain way with zfs", btrfs is the "closest" thing in features... aside from, you know, not being able to trust it. The only other option is using md with ext4, but that just gets you some eh redundancy.

I played all of The Ascent with a keyboard and mouse. It's very clearly a twin stick shooter. (Unless you write for Kotaku, then the whole thing is the exact same kind of game as Cyberpunk 2077)

The reason the view is spinning about is because the mouse input is connected to the camera. Since it's top down you have a fixed view so that free's up the mouse for controlling the character, other than that you'll have to define what keys to press, and what the mouse inputs do yourself. Think of it as a learning opportunity. You now know what to look in to further.

I know that my health will suffer from that but I don't care anymore. I'd slept for less than 4 hours a day if that's what it takes.
28 bottles of energy drink, 250 grams of coffee, and a tiny dose of adrenaline drugs, should be enough for the game jam.
Last time I missed the game jam, it was because of my normal 8 hour sleep and other works.
Now that I've been fired from the COVID recession, I can take my shot.

Unity certainly has its place, and is great for lots of uses. I learned so much in unity by creating systems from scratch, some of those systems and tools exist within unreal already, so starting in unreal you are more figuring out how the editor and its systems is working then how games work. But that said, I just can't accept unity when they are a company who's primary rev comes from advertisements, from a game engine company that doesn't actually make games themselves. It's no wonder most of it's features are experimental. Godot really does have a bright future, and would IMHO make a better starting point then unity
