Teeth are an interesting one, they tend to be symmetrical even when they are badly damaged, I think some sort of growth algorithm is required like with trees so you get those contortions and imperfections.

well thats the thing while metahumans have realistic properties I still see them as stylised characters because they dont have those true imperfections real humans have. Maybe idealised would be a better word for it and that doesnt fit in some games as theyre trying to portray a less idealised version of the world.

I agree that metahuman has "problems" I think it's the fact that it is created with real people scan, and for blend features togheter you need a huge library of scans, or can look off sometimes, i think they only need to add scans and can resolve the problem
the sims for me is different, is built from scratch, is stylized so is a easiest task, but sincerly the best character creator i see for now

I think the thing with Actors is they have all the legalities sorted, they have agencies and whatnot with all the release forms for their likeness to be used. If they were to scan Epic employees for eg thats a big overhead of getting all those contracts signed for use etc. Not impossible but it does kinda lends itself to those glossy people we see in magazines vs regular joes n janes

Literally every single weapon in the game would kill you in one hit to the head, the axis rifleman's bolt action rifle was a onehit kill railgun (but only from standing still) etc. :D
you could also shoot through a lot of walls really effectively, even moreso than in CS
so it rewarded high skill play in various ways and was rather fast paced
I think I last played dod 1.3 four years ago or something? need to play it again sometime :D

it might be hours now that I think of it
I think it takes half an hour to walk from the closest bus stop to the player's house
and that's probably like 1/3 if even less the full way around the rally
plus you probably can't run at all if you wanted to go around the rally route... because if you run you'll definitely run out of drinks and such because it consumes significantly more than just plain walking
I think it might be possible if you walk since that doesn't consume so much of those bars compared to running
but it's also much slower lol

my game is sort of partially inspired by MSC
hopefully we can convey some similar feel but without the irritatingly nonsensical gameplay mechanics because MSC was built by someone who isn't a programmer :P
