Oh yeah my main rule for my kids was to never impose anything but common sense. My eldest went from omnivore to vegetarian to vegan and back to omnivore all on her own and did her own journey of learning and discovery. She found her own way and me and her mom just supported her. I made her all the veggie meals she wanted separately. And we never said anything bad to her. It’s her life after all.

For Unreal Engine 4.22, Epic games has reworked a quite considerable chunk of the renderer, almost UE5 level (basically the entire drawcall/mesh path is rewritten). The new version adds raytracing, and Render Graph. The render graph is similar to the FrameGraph in Frostbite engine, and its a way to connect different rendering passes, leaving the render-graph system to figure out the memory dependencies and the framebuffers. Once finished, it will allow for improved customization of the renderer, and even rendering plugins.

Yeah maybe, but some of them you can’t get remasters of. Which is a little annoying. Most Sega games haven’t received remastered versions like Phantasy Star, Zero Tolerance, Earthworm Jim (although they made other and newer games for this)... just a few come to mind. There were so many.

You could make a GTA game as an indie dev easily these days. I mean what does it have that costs AAA money? Mocap, actor names, some online tech for server stuff, an MTX system, Asset parity. As far as the gameplay goes it's not exclusive to AAA. Drive car, walk street, punch hooker, fly helicopter, shoot gun. All stuff that can be done on a budget. Even the open world stuff is pretty much out of the box these days for single player.

It's so much more complex
It can take you like 4 hours before you reach making bronze
And finding every material you need can be a pain, depending on RNG
But at least you don't have to dig caves to find those, there's pebbles on the grass that tell you what vein is below it

which you can give the specific block type you want it to mine, and it has an area similar to a BC quarry which it then mines for it
