I wouldn't think so, unless you intend to depend entirely on other artists asset packs and go sparingly with animated models. When it comes to modeling, stylization and exaggeration is still a lot easier than aiming for realism, at least to me.
You also get a lot of people going for this dime-a-dozen "lowpoly" look, which will always be easier, seeing how bare bones it is.

Now I get why ue5 is the way it is.
"up to 22GB/s transfer from disk to gpu" I believe he said. Because of the decompressor which funnels data from disk to gpu directly without cpu intervention.
That's not raw, that's after decompression.
But that's fucking massive.
This cpu, for one core to do a simple byte addition on every byte in a 1GB buffer, the best result I optimized down to was about 0.8s
And the ps5 is supposed to ship with over 800GB which is about 8 games worth.

Wuhan is about 800km from where I am, but Shanghai never had a major corona-virus outbreak because... well, there are upsides of having an authoritarian government that can simply shut everything down.
Sucks if you were in the area being shut off though...
But at least things didn't spread to the major economic areas. Though we were on lockdown for 2 months.

Not much to do with Communism and more to do with Authoritarianism.
The only thing about Communism that helped is that the government does own certain industries and can shut them down easier because... well, they are the boss. So a private company isn't trying to open up the subway system because they aren't making money.
They also have more power to have factories produce masks and personal protection gear.
But Communism in and of itself doesn't mean that they can just lock down the population. That's part of the Authoritarian power of the Chinese government.

China has a lot of modular building designs, so they can quickly assemble the pieces.
It isn't exactly like building a whole building from scratch.
They could do the same in the US if there was enough financial incentive. If they could charge $10,000 a room, the US would be building that hospital in a flash.
But if only poor people are in the area, it might take a year for that hospital to be built up.
