The throttle isn't faulty, I went along a ~130km stretch of gravel road (its a sports bike with road tires) and dropped it on the throttle side, it must have gotten some debris stuck between the throttle and bar which fell into the right place to jam it

@proven thorn basically it's slower paced, guns have huge recoil and are slow to aim, melee weapons all have a basic primary attack and a secondary attack that is unique to each one (e.g. a box cutter can be stuck inside the head for an instant kill)

note that AMD Ryzen CPU's do benefit from dual channel & the fastest memory they can support, it makes a difference with them

I think what happens more on the edges is younger trees but they are less dense, you get a further scattering then eventually that area gets denser over time so you get trees of varying ages together. Its why man made forests look so fake vs natural
but with the edges of the denser bit it tends to be formations or some sort of natural barrier which prevents it growing further like rock, rivers, mountains, roads

I think in general there are a few scenarios which arnt suited to games, for example I was attempting to capture an Australian desert. The wide openness is problematic, do I cull and use fogging to fake it? I can exaggerate the hills but there is just so much distance, even if I scale the real area down I end up with a huge view distance because theres no real horizon rolling over.
Best I can think of is like water, do a fake ground which rolls to the horizon and blends to the real landscape. Ideally I would want loading zones to bring in different skyboxes to really enhance the landmarks for navigation.

QixMix is a great way to just grab an asset out of the Quixel library and quickly edit it to fit the style of your game and then throw it in.
For the kind of things that just sit in the background and you don't want to waste the time opening up Blender and making a pile of firewood or whatever.
QixMix can make it look like it is somewhat hand painted in a few minutes.
You can use other textures in QixMix, Mr. Ponkkis.
These are the kind of tools I needed back in 2012...
I remember back before normal maps and we would go into Photoshop and hand paint shadows onto a texture... I really hated that kind of stuff...
This procedural stuff is so much better.

I followed the link I got a 59 dollar 1 yr unlimited downloads at cgaxis (original price they say is 349$). What I really want is the 3d models for my interior and landscape scene. I just bought it right now, 59 dollars for the whole year. I was really scared, but yeah I got all the 3d models plus the textures. Aside from unreal format they have other 3d formats as well. But I agree with @deep glen regarding such kind of advertising.
I went for it since I am not a good 3d modeller etc. hehe But I love making 3d scenes. It is a 1 yr subscription, so I am trying to get all the stuff I need.

I don't know much about downloading 3d models, but it sounds like it could be helpful for blocking out a level.
You will probably want to edit the textures in QixMix or something so you can make all your assets fit the project.
But I would just block out how you want your level to work first before worrying about that stuff.
