this reminded me from the design flaw I reported to Adobe about Substance Launcher

basically the flaw was that you'd have to keep running their launcher in the background for it to work gracefully

(if you only opened it when you wanted to use the substance tools and there was an update for say, substance painter, you could start that update and little after that the substance launcher would prompt there's an update for it as well, if you were stupid like I was each single time on that popup, you'd click yes and it would reset the substance painter update, update the launcher and lose the notifications of new versions)

anyway, the point is.. when I told about this, their response was... "why don't you just keep the launcher in the background always"

like I would want to do that for 20 launchers I have for no bloody good reason

RDR2 sold more copies than any of the Black Ops games according to that list, but somehow the Black Ops games made more money, so either the DLCs are counted in or something is weird

just applied to particles and worked into a tool

it basically uses that as an overlay on camera-ish and uses cascade emitters to create the base to which that fluid sim is applied to, then bake it out to a flipbook
