I'd highly recommend against doing that until you understand a lot more and have some project experience behind you. It's not a user friendly experience in the slightest. From setting up Android Studio, getting the dependencies, implementing methods that are specifically supportive of mobile development and having to deal with the restrictions and variability of mobile platform devices, it's a logistical nightmare at times.

Just remember it isn't a race to market when you are a solo dev. It's a slow, methodical process which requires personal learning, testing and prototyping, and is likely to fail most of the time. However what you learn along the way will speed up your next project. So ideally making many projects with plans to learn something rather than release something is the way to go.
If you can get on a team, that's a different matter entirely, but it should be a priority that you are advancing yourself rather than your game. Otherwise you will try too hard to skip the hard work and settle for sub-optimal output. I've seen it time and time again where people with the basic knowledge of Unreal Engine put out a game, only for it to be a glorified tech demo of their own skills, and to gamers who may purchase it, you become a joke/meme for being so bad.
Trust in the path, not the finish line.

yeah. I did my first mobile prototype with Unreal Engine early on, then skipped it for years and had to re-learn it with UE5. It felt like way more feature replacement was required at that point. So having to re-learn that was cool, but I wouldn't call it entirely motivating. But what killed my mobile development learning path was trying to convert projects from PC version to Mobile. That was a true pain and almost a complete rewrite of core systems.
If I was starting from scratch I guess I wouldn't have that issue and I would still be motivated to do it.

My first mobile game was a complete cheat method. I simply ran Flash in an SWF wrapper for Android. So all development was Flash and the SWF player did it's job. But I had no services or multiplayer at that point.

well you can get one fairly cheap. Ram prices may look silly right now but you have to have it so... You could get away with a 12700k Intel CPU, a 2080 or above GPU (any RTX), 32gb of Ram would be my minimum but 16gb Ram can work if you have the swap file space, or RAMDrive to handle extraneous storage). An SSD is definitely something you would need (nvme / m2) so you can handle the streaming data speeds.
Aside from that, just good PC component builds.

a mobile game is still a full game tough. Nobody is expecting you to make a Triple A quality game with no budget and as a solo dev. I mean, even Triple A makes bad games on a high budget. Just understand gameplay because gameplay is king. It could look like crap and still give someone an enjoyable time with bugs, unfinished or early access etc, as long as the gameplay is there. That is something you have to prototype to ensure it works, which is why I promote the task of learning through prototyping. It doesn't just teach you one method, it can also teach you why that method should be replaced with a better "best practice" method, and it tests your game to see if it's fun.

It's become like UE in many ways. You can do it yourself by spending money on 'assets' - plugins and modules - and get an unoptimized mess, and still host it.

For complying with all the e-com rules, taxes, etc. and GDPR stuff, plus implementing high security protocols (like HSTS), you either hire a specialist or upgrade your AI-fu and learn.

ok I guess. Playing Monk - Martial Artist. Still not sure where I'm going with it. Currently level 45 because I was playing with my guildies all night and 4 manning the campaign. So it was slower than the usual run. I don't mind though, I only race in POE1. I treat POE2 as a casual playthrough.
Considering the Whirling Assault build but it's a bit confusing because of the new Martial Artist ascendancy. It's got some crazy, CRAZY stuff. Like the Runic Meridians (which gives you 6 extra runes slots. That by itself seems cool, but factor in that you can rip a mod from a unique and store it in a rune, then it's going to be absolutely broken.
