when i've tried it it was nothing close to that, and felt more like simple linear interpolation, together with some physics solver to keep the body balanced
also the demo videos they show have way more than just 2 keyframes
the physics solver is kinda good tho
what it can do is basic walk cycles, like in the scene with the fox, but you can see they have a keyframe when the character stood up from the chair, and one at the counter, which is filled by their walk cycle

Yes, I read about that housing problem. It's not just Australia though. There are solutions for it, but you'd need to relax your housing safety regulations quite a bit for that, or just not care about enforcing them.
