Now colour me wrong, but isn't that the point? We literally waste billions of man hours with manual searching for answers, and often cannot answer them. Like the protein folding, or other medical advances that came from AI or mass computational power.
When AI makes answers too difficult to find, that is the issue as it was for years with bad LLMs. At least we are getting close to something decent now.
yeah unless you have a fundamental knowledge of what you ask the LLM, often it will give you the wrong answers. I think of it as a reflection of input. So when I want GPT to write me a C++ function I extrapolate every detail of what I need, sometimes in what order, sometimes leaving holes in the prompt for the LLM to fill in.
So I guess an LLM is really only as good as the person inputting the prompt.

it's a melee problem that's been occurring since melee tbh. The game isn't designed for melee. They tried to make it work, and it kind of does, but with the danger of bosses and juiced mobs in this game it's hard not to get owned unless you blast them into stuns, freezes or one-shot them

I don't really do much with that kind of stuff as level design is another guys speciality, but from what I know about navmesh it has the tools to do what you need if you do it right. Redfall was absolutely bin-end broken default navmesh tho. I think they just slapped it on. It was funny but sad at the same time.

immune to freeze if you built freeze is probably the issue rather than corrupted blood. There is usually a window where they can use that kind of thing, so it's not constant, and if you know the tell you can avoid it or rely on charms to negate it.

I remember one clip of a guy getting chased, so he stood next to a car, and the mob didn't know how to avoid it.

Couldn't hit two rare monsters because they were too big and clipped the terrain somewhere, causing the attacks to miss.
I had to actually disengage and wait for them to come to me elsewhere.

yeah I know what youre saying, those diegetic UIs can be awesome but they have their limits. In Vermintide 2 the lobby area has all the different tools you can use but they have a traditional 2D UI behind each one so you dont have to walk around and physically use each one if you dont want
I feel like Sons of the Forest didnt quite know what type of game it wanted to be, the first one definitely leans more into the survival aspects and that sort of slower discovery makes sense. In the second one the pacing just feels abit whack but it could be because I spent so much time in the first game

I am on Waystone 12 now.
The bugs are really starting to show.
Map server crashing, instances not loading 3-5 times, sometimes the skills don't fire (could be character specific), idiotically overlapping monster auras (which could be causing problems with the skills not firing), weird slowdowns, collision problems with large monsters, etc. etc.
This makes sense, because I killed around 14 rares in my last map, and avoided the third one I met simply because he had this weird bleed thing on his weapon.
I am thinking of just anointing one of my amulets with bleed immunity. 😄
There's also this one weird, probably druid specific (maybe leap slam too) bug in Forest biome map.
In a certain place, where you are surrounded by stumps and logs, your jumping/pouncing skills REFUSE to fire.

there is a method to keep your path active so you can retry architect and atziri easily. Because as it stands if you just go full random on it then you get one shot and if you fail it deletes half your temple. I don't like that. It's unkind to player time. But if you use the fixed path method you can save loads of time

Not sure it needs the rendering side of things because they do ok on that. They could use better characters but they did get a little bit better in Starfield. What could be an issue is Elder Scrolls 6 is like deep into development. So maybe they took a look at it and thought it looked a bit crap and want Unreal Engine to bandage the holes. Pretty sure the gameplay will be ok, because they clone tried and tested methods. But if they are struggling with CE2 (or building CE3) then it doesn't bode well for Elder Scrolls fans.

Thats unusual as it was delisted from the launcher. So those assets are all old, and I wonder if they remade the systems, because I'm pretty sure none of them would work unless you did
