so intermediary steps can be AI assisted but you still need to know how to edit, color grade, etc.

my eyes bleed from python. but i do get why its used. but i personally hate it (might have to learn it someday for blender scripts, or maybe ill just get the source so i can avoid python)

well i guess, but in a way its not, since it doesnt really restrict what you can store in it, since it can be any memory address. so it can be int, string, you name it, so id consider that typeless atleast in spirit.

well the main reason to use python is data interoperability. The typeless nature of Python makes sending info around different apps easier than typecasting between different types constantly

not gonna lie, it took me 20+ years to get on board with Python. But reading Mark Lutz's 6th edition of Learning Python opened my eyes somewhat. Although I still don't particularly like it's syntax, I do see the use more than I did when I just flipped it off as a crappy scripting language.

python with line termination and brackets instead of whitespace mattering + hybrid type system could be something i could get behind. basically statically typed BUT the interpreter still lets us use the types as dynamic or something. i honestly dont know enough about python to even be having this conversation, but would i be a real programmer if i didnt talk shit about stuff i know nothing about.

depends if it needs to be. Most times only I see the code anyway and its only used once. But yeah I do write scalable and readable code when I need to (mostly all my code is readable though)

oh well the point is that there is no point. im planning a video where i build out a fully functional application by writing the most cursed, stupidest, unreadable code possible. rn just coming up with some ideas. so far ive got, only using void* for variables, function returns and function inputs, every variable named "Something" "AnotherThing" "ThisThing" etc..., everything will be const and i cast away the const, strings get their value from hex instead of writing it in ""
