im a rated small craft pilot
with IFR and twin engine ratings
theres a LOT of the country you cant go very fast over
and you cant go fast at low altitudes without using huge amounts of fuel, and theres the fact that speeds over 200 knots will slowly damage most airframes below 5k feet
thats why airliners usually hit 10k feet before going over 250kt
granted that flier looks like it could survive high speeds
but keep in mind, the majority of the reason electric cars arent more widespread has more to do with range, and service than cost now
