If you set your server up with a CPanel (Linux) or its equivalent for a Windows server, you can install the CMS package there.
Then, you open the administrator for your CMS with yoururl/administrator (usually) and use the login/pass you chose during installation.
Thereafter, you're good to go.
Generally, the CMS installs to a public_html folder. If you want multiple CMS(s) with multiple domains, you put them under a domains folder. So Domain1/Public_HTML and Domain2/Public_HTML, so on and so forth.
Obviously, domain config files have to be created, blah blah.
