Back to my game. Question, I'm making a farm field with plantable crops and such (farm sim). Each crop is going to have atleast 3 meshes/stages of growth. I'm hoping to have about 20-30 crops, and if I do seasons, could have 5-10 different crops planted at a time.
My first thought was to just have HISMs on my field class, and somehow track which crop/mesh is planted where and whatnot. But looking at how I did it with ISMs in my mapgen, and how to manage, its looking complicated.
So my other thought, is to have a seperate actor per crop type, so it only has to track and handle its own crops
Still complicated for tracking which mesh instance is on which tile, but should be easier... I hope...

Interesting. Graphics are better with DLSS, Quality mode, and 75 Sharpening than with upscaling off.
AI needs modders to fix it. Enemies ignore proximity attacks. Enemies can hit you even a bit outside melee range with a melee weapon. Collision seems to be weird / non-existent during attack animations.
They have removed the ability to keep whacking corpses/rag dolls and see the blood spurting everywhere. You CAN whack furniture and other static assets though.
Enemy spatial awareness is ZERO. They need to hotfix that. You can quite literally stay out of every enemy's 'zone of detection' and kill every other enemy in the room.

The graphics are a bit of a shame, too. I won't say 'scam', but I don't think the game's original textures should look WORSE than the upscaled, sharpened DLSS product.
With my DLSS, Quality, 75 Sharpening setting, the upscaled texture looks sharper and better. Turn it off, and the base game looks blurry.

Graphics are handled by UE 5 and the rest is Creation Engine.
Although not a video game, Nervecenter's Silo and Milo do a similar thing.
Milo integrates with Silo and uses a UE (5 I think) renderer to provide real-time renders or something.
