The only time they'll have to adjust their returns is IF they are claiming housing loan and medical insurance deductibles, but I think that's been removed this year. I am not sure about that though.

For me, I file my returns as a business - professional (just a fancy name for shop owner). So, I need to attach my books of accounts to my return. I could do that myself, but meh. I prefer noblesse oblige, keep the money flowing, so I just pay the CA.
