I clicked the Update button and it just froze -not very responsive at all 😄 Also I don't like that they've put the checking in a service of it's own - so now rather than only use my CPU when I start the launcher it takes up resources all the time, contacting base etc - The only efficient way of doing update checking is when the user opens the software - not having 100 different apps phone home and ask for updates when the computer starts. But I don't see the Fab team as actually having any experience at all so I'm not surprised.
