I could definitely use some extra time tbh. I've wasted 15 years trying to make it as a game dev and had the worst career through my own stupid choices. In that case, apply a wavy/distortion filter to the camera, I guess.

If you want a wavy cube model, then tesselating the cube and moving rows of vertices left and right, in alternating patterns, will get you said waviness.

Doing that by spline will probably be easier, since moving the curve's points saves a lot of time compared to working with vertices.

If you want to apply the waviness as an animation, the previous UE engine patch added a set of transformers for that purpose, with various other effects available too.

not sure encyclopedias are the best learning tool for a kid these days. We evolve and so do our learning methods with technology. Imagine trying to force a kid to learn from an encylopedia after they have lived on the internet for a few years. It's gonna be tough. But you can get the same information in better methods to cater for the learning styles of different people on the internet
