There's a point in the game where it gets frustrating to fight so many of them at once, but they are not as much of a threat towards the end game.

Found a game-breaking bug.

When you extend the manor to surround your town with walls, the manor overlaps all the other buildings in town and makes them unselectable.
On the plus side, I DID surround 1/4th of my town with walls. Trump would be proud. 😛

@summer cedar I've been playing warhammer 40k darktide. As an Indomitable ogryn build.

It's horrible.

Whole purpose of the build is just keep hitting enemy's to keep toughness up so I dont lose health. But these dumbass veteran characters just shoot everything so I cant even keep my toughness up. So my health just drops constantly.

Also when I shove enemies it taunts them and causes them to take 25% more damage from all sources. And as I attack I build stacks of bleed that transfers to whatever I attack etc. So I can kill big special units with 1-2 heavy attacks. Cant do that with idiots tho. The advanced players understand my build and let me do my job, but they're so rare to get

i got let go a few months after a pretty rapid merger into a big company. they thought they could cut the fat and classified me as mid management yet i held the keys to the kingdom mostly. it didn't go well. i thought i would bounce back quickly but it took me 7 months to land something after lots of false starts and dishonesty with recruiters, etc.

yea i have a friend in a similar spot, very tech savvy and intelligent but no real official resume bullets as such and hard to get 'the first one'

dad was an electrical engineer who made 1st level management

he had a big team of techs but whenever they got stumped on something he would drag me in

my mind is great at finding connections

id poke around and usually could find a fix they didnt know about

my advise, get something or even a trifecta of moderate IT certs. ccna , or even network+/security+. will cost you a couple hundo. do a little studying. can get an easy entry level phone job and get you exposure to systems. that's how i did the grind. preferably find an ISP where you have lots of depts. i started cust service and moved on to DNS/web, and then to dsl provisioning when it was new in late 90s

install linux. provision a hefty VM or build a little server. get proficient enough

my reading comp has been post grad level since i was in middle school, but my math skills are essentially nonexistent

basicn networking/sys admin stuff you can nail in under a year of study and tests and get into lots of remote stuff for probably 70+

unless you're getting into cryptography dont really care about math

although it helps with subnetting i guess lol

my point is, you can solidify yourself with a low investment of money but 6-12 months...maybe less of labbing and research.

cost of classes and teaching isnt the issue

my dad has enough put away he retired at 50 and is keeping enough he can spend 60-70k a year and still keep making investment money

i know people don't always think about this...but there is a greater societal / psychological shift at play now

post covid, many people got introspective more, looked at things differently

wantced a change of pace. went through grief, learned a lot, etc. something palpable in the air is different

it's like we never recovered from the post-Thanos snap

and it has interweaved itself into career progression weather people want to see this or not

even with your disability, you may have another issue that is plaguing men as of late...and you may be able to do sometrhing about it. check your hormone levels, T, free T, estradiol. if you're super depleted it can literally be a fight to even get up

i would look into doing the video tax stuff with turbo tax tghen. you can be remote. you don't even have to be a CPA so if you are you can probably get better pay for premium services. i actually did one and it was helpful because i had some corner cases with some RSUs

Last time I used it was to search for info about why my GPU timeouts in DX12 in UE. There were a bunch of big threads with no actual solution for my case. At the end the discussions devolved to other topics.

so many reasons why it could do that tbh. Everyone chimes into that one. Usually it's as basic as updating a driver. Sometimes it's to do with the streaming data bring overloaded through the bus and it missed the tdr timeout value. In which case you can fix that with profiling. But sometimes it's a bad PC setup. I mean, it can be caused by a lot. The reg fix doesn't always work either
