Make it a difficulty based thing, or a setting.
Having a paused inventory is super useful to gather my thoughts, or pop and make a cuppa if I'm playing casually. It's also great for people with slower reactions, who can't necessarily fly around the inventory at a million miles an hour during combat.
In a higher difficulty though, it would be one of those that makes the game harder. I'm either going to need insane reaction times, or to make sure I'm properly prepped beforehand.

Wild Hearts is one of those games that fell victim to terrible Japanese game pricing.
I played Monster Hunter before and I thought it was a chore, especially with those single digit damage numbers.
Wild Hearts improves on that. Thankfully, it's free on EA Play. ๐ So, no need to pay that atrocious price.
If they reduced the price by 25-30%, it'd be a good buy actually.

I probably think it's more to do with the fact Nvidia are the dominant AI force in the hardware world right now. This Blackwell range will push frame generation and it's associated optimisations to the max for gaming purposes, but in terms of personal computing AI tasks outside of gaming there isn't a real competitor yet. But if they don't get the tech out before everyone else there is a good chance someone could take the reigns. It would be a mistake to not at least push hardware to waste other company's RnD time as they try to at least keep up. I called it Dominant Futureproofing. Like what Netflix did to Blockbuster back in the day.
