It has received all the updates so far, too. No crashes, no problems. It's faster in many ways than Win 10.

I think there're professionally curated guides these days, which will show you how to play with other races too. They even cover APM and order of actions to get you started competitively.
There're some nice Zerg strategies, too. I was watching a competitive match the other day, where a player brought in his rolling suicide Zergers and smashed through the opposition's forces.

85c for a cpu is a bit low these days isn't it? My intel 12700k is rated safe upto 100c iirc
yeah modern gen cpus are rated for higher temps than previous gens. My 4790k could hit 100c at max temp before stepping down, so 85 was a nice tradeoff for longevity. But last gen and this gen cpu can do 110c before they even take the hit. I've ran my pc with all cores running 95c overnight and not had any issues.

it is right in old school terms. The tech has progressed with heat in mind as the two main factors of cpu death are voltage and temperature. Which is why Intel introduced the Stepping Down technology in the first place, to protect the cpu. But we are in a world of heavy computational power and cpu requirements for 100% load are now entirely based on a stable temperature environment, where 110c would be unsafe for long periods where ambient temperature affects cooling of the cpu, and 100c is fine with a solid 10c buffer for that situation.
Other factors do some into play though. Like how you setup your voltages, if you use air cooling then how does the internal case temps affect cooling efficiency at high loads, etc. Other components might need their own cooling too, in the case of gpu, ram and storage, where the internal ambient temps lead to instability.
This is why people buy Apple Macs though... fire and forget ๐

I do think the design has improved, but let me tell you, these temps are doing their job at aging the microelectronic, there is no way around it. Not for that grade of products at least. They just don't care much anymore to keep the longevity, nor they expect that you keep it for weeks on >90C.
