Downloads are compressed files and uncompression takes twice the size of the unpacked file. When installation is done the temporary files get deleted. More or less this is the less technical explanation,

I am trying to force Fooocus to NOT use low-vram-mode while generating images.
There's a nice python command line that's available. They just don't delineate WHERE it is supposed to go.
Yeah, but after they updated the app, they seem to have forgotten to specify which command works now.
There's everything from --normalram to --always-normal-ram, to more crap.
Also where the F@#$ is it supposed to go?

The problem with this is that while it is consuming 5.6GB of the available VRAM, it is using only 3.2GB of it to generate the image. It's okay in hyper speed generation mode. BUT, in quality/speed mode, it does slow down quite a bit.
