About that time I also had an irl group of friends I started going out a lot with, group I played with kinda stopped playing, irl group broke apart, about a year later I blacked out and basically broke contacts I had with a few friends
And at this point I really don't have the patience and energy to bother with trying to find friends or anything else

But I would maybe suggest trying to reconnect with some of your old friends and going out for a drink or something. You might meet new people that way, friend of a friend or w/e. Pretend it’s a really hard coding challenge, it takes a lot of effort but there’s an inherent reward. At the very least, you’ll get some free therapy from the small dose of social validation from your friends. We all need some of that every now and then
