my network is super unstable lately - my connection will randomly go ultra slow / only certain sites and apps will (sort of) work or it stops working altogether (--> DNS issues?)
I've got a way of restoring connection by resetting my router and cycling my devices in a certain order that works most of the time but I'd love to diagnose why this happens in the first place but I'm not sure where to start
my PC is connected via cable to a router that is configured as an access point (static IP, no DHCP) and that access point router is connected via a (very long, ~30m) ethernet cable to the modem (the modem is in another house)
my ethernet adapter ipv4 gets both the IP and DNS adresses automatically. I have tried with 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 DNS but it still happens then.
