I just used that as an example, I'm writing a map generator in c++, and it has a main class, which has its BP child for actual spawning inside UE and so I can set variables and whatnot. And that main class has a bunch of sub-classes that it calls at various points, a few are temporary, one I've left to stick around to use at other points in the program. those sub classes are child classes of a main class, and Its all functional, but I really get the feeling that I havent set them up as well as they should be
for instance, I've got a few functions that I've had to write in a few spots, instead of only having one instance/version of that function. If I knew how to properly set up classes and child classes, and whatnot, the code would be a lot cleaner and more solid
I need to learn those basics, and several other things, to do things properly. I cant expect anyone on this discord to hold my hand through every step of the process
