The dlc storyline is kinda nicely self-contained, it's going for more of an "action movie" style storyline

It's so well written too

It depends. If it's something like the ending than sucks. But if it's a small little detail (like what you wrote) it isn't that big of a deal

One thing I dont think people consider in general with AI is we now have a version of a colective consciousness which can run without the internet. Sure it wont run on all computers but its far more portable than the entire internet. I think longevity is definitely something AI can help our species achieve

The thing is in 2016 there was hardware to make LLMs, we had language models but RNN based (recursive neural network), which was the state of the art method at the time, but in 2017 the current transformer model and self attention mechanism was discovered that allowed today's LLMs to exist

So in this case the software was the key, hardware helped but software was what lead the last breakthrough
