Newest Nvidia drivers bricked my game on a 3080ti.

So to anyone searching this in the future Studio version fixes it; I installed the newest 536.99 standard driver and it bricked my game. Tried reverting to the last working version 536.67 but the issue persisted. Switched to using the newest 536.99 Studio and the problem went away.

For some reason the driver was glitching out my entire computer, everything was running super slow and lagging at every screen.

Its frustrating that roku devices come preset to 4K resolution and not preset to automatic.

i've never cared much about DLSS, there's 2 things which i wonder...
they always mention that they trained the model... how large is the DLSS model actually?
also wonder, does it generate the extra frames on it's own, or is it still running the game thread with the same FPS as the output?

The model itself needs to be pretty small considering it's using very little memory
So with DLSS upscaling it's running at the FPS you are seeing, it's just running at lower res and upscaling

With DLSS 3 and frame gen, if you are running at 60 fps, it's gonna output 120
It generates 1 frame in between 2 real ones, so the game engine is running at 60 but you are seeing 120

Doesn't sound great on paper, but it practice it's really damn impressive, I was skeptical
But after playing a few games now fully with it on I'm impressed, for story based games it's great, I'm used to playing competitively and I'm pretty sensitive to latency and I had no issues with it, probably wouldn't use for something competitive fast paced but for story driven games (what I mean by that is something where every ms of latency doesn't matter) it's awesome

so with their example comparsion where all 4 are next to each other (22fps DLSS off, 113fps with DLSS3.5 everything on) it probably generates around 4-5 inbetween frames

guess for most games it works out, but i can see that this can run into some wonky game feeling if the game thread can't produce enough frames on it's own

take the latin american spanish translations for WoW Dragonflight DLC for example. The translators apparently created non-existant gender neutral words just to avoid using the gendered parts of spanish. And it was only for the latin america spanish. The spain spanish is fine apparently.
