Wow. i just got Whisper up and running locally, and tied in to ObsidianMD. The accuracy/interpretation is impressive.

yeah, they have different models for different VRAM capacities, so you should be able to find one that works. there are Many different ways to get it installed, so i can't really point you to one set solution. I just fired up Obsidian and on a hunch searched plugins for Whisper and found two. i am using the nikdanilov solution, which wants to use the API (web based Whisper), so you have to apply the solution by gavrilov to make it work with a local copy. the gavrilov solution will explain how to install it locally with a venv, i used conda instead. but, this is all revolving around Obsidian. i do not know how to install it other ways, as i have not tried

I just got back from my parents place where I gave my mom some tips for playing My Time at Portia, and they'e both playing farming sims like that. Now I kinda wanna play MtaP instead of baldurs gate3 ๐ฆ
but everytime I start playing those games, I get irritated with bits of how those games are and I wanna work on my own game....
