In blender my root bone is called "Root", armature/etc is called SK_Slime. oh, in ue5 the skeleton is called "Slime1_skeleton", if I rename that it'll ignore blenders extra root bone "SK_Slime" ?

last time I imported a skeleton from blender I had to rename armature to something else, when using armature as the root name all the scale was messed up

so, naming it Armature fixed the root bone issue, but completely messed up the scales. I tried exporting with different unit scales, export scales, did look like it fixed the scale issue but my animations were based on the old unit scale so all my anims broke

I reset the unit scales and such all back to before, oh, crap nope I goofed.

And the tutorial I found to make blender not add the root bone doesnt seem to match with blender 3.3 😦
