I was actually sad I didnt get the pro version of the iphone I have because it has a lidar scanner thing but photogrammetry gives better results anyway if I ever wanted to make a model of something
it can be a pain to setup tho, getting the right lighting etc, but if you get the setup right you can get some nice results

and after a thin layer of paint they would be even less noticeable
If you were printing the model large, then it might be an issue and you would see them, but at that scale I actually donโt think you would.

I am copying UVs from one model to another, but it decides to overwrite instead of adding, ok.. so i duplicate the original so i have two copies on the model i am copying to. I copy. blender proceeds to delete Both maps and overwrite with the copied one, leaving me with only One UV map.

you dont always need nanites for it, actually nanites might be detrimental since the filesize gets huge,
did some PG in UE4 and reduced the meshes to 100k for lets say a door, is descent, maybe not for shooters but worked nicely. 2-10mb models
now with nanites i go to 1mil polygons, takes ages to load, is 100mb+ per model. and you cant use half the shader magic anymore since the model to calculate it doesnt really exist.
it has more details if i faceplant into a wall tho i agree.

regarding workflow, i use zephyr, was imo the best of the apps i tested, not mobile,
take ~120 pics per object or so, 60% overlap, no hard shadows try overcast,
ZBrush cleanup, for nanites you really just cut off unwanted stuff, for pre nanites you remesh or somin and project to lower polycount and smooth out surfaces
dont use turntables if you dont have a proper setup for it, the PG apps calculate the shape based on the backgound too, so if it moves it gets confused
dont use depth blur during photo shooting!!
