most of them do, the problem comes in the way they send the notification as to if they are a Numpad or Regular number. It is a technical thing that is rarely determinable without purchasing it, unless there are really good reviews/comments. I tend to use a program called VoiceAttack so i can basically program any key, or key combination, to do what i want

Thank you. yes I have already extended it to my liking, I am already doing level design and starting to piece out the story, mechanics, items needed for the puzzles. if your game is not completely story based only I'd recommend working on a fun prototype first with core mechanics, doesn't even need a story or whatever, more or less a tech demo

main reason I started the project was cause I like the games, about 80% of them, but I hate being tied to being helpful/interacting with the town npcs. And also that every game in the genre is super cheerful and bright and happy and colorful

thinking of limiting scope cause last time I spent any real time working on the game I was working on NPCs and quests, and thinking about how much work it was going to be to set them up in a semi-believable fashion, and how much work it was going to be. I'd love to have a town full of NPCs, but the work to create that would take me a loooong time. Especially since it takes me so long to come up with ideas, and have no idea how to actually do character art
so if I atleast limit the number of NPCS, thats less I have to create art and dialogue for

if your "farm" or whatever it will be is boring, and you have 40 npcs, those npcs will have to carry the game, so your character design and story telling will take more of the spotlight
