I have setup CoquiTTS and MozillaTTS to use my old video card for CUDA. It is very cool because it can say the same phrase twenty times, and never sound exacatly the same.. Tone, inflection, etc. But, it does not understand ellipsis so it goes of on a tangent of human sounding vocalizations when i use them sometimes for like 10 minutes, just strange vocalizations.

On topic though. Verse is basically an extension of the interfacing that is already there in Creative mode. The majority of what you do with Verse is just adding specific functionality using that interfacing and event system. You can create some custom stuff but you can't access things already there unless it's defined as such. However if you create new, custom assets, then Verse will allow you access where you allow it.

yeah me too. I learned it just to help out my kids who are interested in it. But the limitations meant after the 3rd game mode, when I wanted to do more custom stuff, I felt too limited and would prefer to just do stuff with Lyra.
I know its not the same but I have no real purpose for UEFN aside from helping out my kids with it. They both already know Creative mode like the back of their hands so they have a good headstart anyway

there is only one purpose for Verse. To limit people into not breaking systems. So it's as powerful as you make it and as useful as you want it to be.
Its not in UE5 yet, but its on the books for the future I would think. Perhaps not as an outright scripting language for everything, but to limit things into a mould like Editor utility widgets.

It's not true entirely. I joined twitter purely to speak to movie stars and musicians I respect and to enjoy the fruits of the Unreal Engine labour which people put up.
